Immerse Yourself in Culture and Landscape from La Cote Vermeille of France to the Costa Brava of Spain on this Incredible Hiking Trek

Hike along the ridges that overlook the Mediterranean and play leapfrog over the coves. The trails follow the edges of the Pyrenees from French Catalunya over the border to Spanish Catalonia. Every day you can choose between a shorter, coastal path hike, or pick a longer, more challenging climb up the Pyrenean foothills to enjoy stunning vistas, then descend through vineyards and fragrant maquis flowers, down to the water again. Throughout the journey, you’ll find the most beautiful coves and quaint villages and be surprised at how peaceful and quiet this lovely region is, from its hiking paths to its fishing ports.

  • All accommodations during our trip, including 1 night in Toulouse, 6 nights in the coastal towns and 1 night in Barcelona

Fitness and Hiking Level

Fitness Level is rated at 2/3 out of 5.  This hike is unique because each day you can choose a shorter hike with less climbing, along the coast, ranging from 4-7 miles or a more challenging route up through the foothills for a 6-12 mile route.  Whatever your heart and body desire for that day.

This trip will give you the perfect opportunity to get in great shape before you go, so you can have an amazing adventure!

  • Cost: Early bird pricing from now until December 31st, 2022 – $3900.  Regular pricing from January 2023 on – $4500

  • $1000 will reserve your spot and payments plans are tailored to individual needs.

  • All prices are based on double occupancy. Single occupancy rates may be available upon request for an additional $100 per night.

  • Airfare and travel insurance are not included. Additional travel insurance is recommended through World Nomads.

Liability and release forms will be emailed to you 4 weeks prior to the trip. Please return them at least 2 weeks before our departure to Joy Rides Coaching at joyrides.dgo@gmail.com. 


Trip payment options



Cancellation policy:

If you have to cancel, costs are fully refundable (less deposit) up to 180 day (6 months) before the start of the trip. Between 120 and 180 days before the trip, 50% of the costs are refundable.  If you have to cancel 0-120 days before the trip, the costs are nonrefundable, but are transferable to another person. The trip deposits are nonrefundable and all payment refunds are subject to a 3.5% credit card/online banking fee. However, this deposit amount may be transferred to another excursion is space is available and if your spot is able to be filled for the trip that you originally booked.
